Gina Jeffords is entering her ninth year as Georgia Southern University’s Majorette Coach . A proud Georgia Southern University alumna, Gina was one of the first majorettes to twirl with the renowned Southern Pride Marching Band in 1982 during her college years.
She is a three-term member of the Georgia Council for the Arts, having been appointed by Governor Nathan Deal, and is a three-time TwirlMania international Coach of the Year recipient. Gina is the owner and director of Gina’s Gems which is celebrating over 40 years of serving Wayne County and remains the county’s oldest continuously operating performing arts studio.
In addition to her teaching and coaching accomplishments, Gina has served as the Director of the Georgia State Baton Twirling Championships for the past 18 years, helping to promote and grow the sport of baton twirling throughout the state of Georgia.
